Interviews

This is the place where I interview really cool working dramaturgs from all different areas of theatre, type up the conversations, and post them here so you can read them too!

I have a voice recorder, and everything.

On the 'prospectives' list:

- University theater (he's American) teacher, author, Shakespeare expert - Dramaturg for a major Shakespearean festival every summer for the past (some impressive number) years
- Lecturer, playwright, devising dramaturg - also producing a successful touring children's theatre company! (Plus, she's got that dry British humor at its best!)
- Lecturer, author, translator... this guy is SMART. Plus, he understands better than anyone else I've met here not only what a dramaturg does, but the range of approaches available for dramaturgy!

- plus various other recommendations... amazing people I've talked to, terrific dramaturgs others have worked with and suggested I contact... I love talking to awesome people, particularly awesome theatre people! IT'S GONNA BE GREAT!
